Hi, my name is Mireille Milad, I’m a 3x European Champion in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, yoga instructor and personal trainer.
I was struggling with super tight hamstrings, my big toes on both feet were in constant pain, terrible posture from years of kickboxing, and my left knee was always giving me issues with bending in squats.
I didn’t really try and fix anything before, I just trained weights and did yoga without really focusing on these specific issues. I had tried taping my knee, and that was helping with stability, but at no point did my knee feel strong and safe.
Since we started working together, I have virtually no pain or instability in my left knee. My toe pain is also mostly gone, my posture is improving and my hamstrings are slowly becoming relaxed.
I feel better, I feel more stable, and I feel stronger in my movements. Still a bit to work on, but I don’t think I would have gotten there alone.
My favourite thing about the training Marvin made for me is that it’s quick and doesn’t take me long. I feel a difference and I don’t need to be at the gym for longer than 45 minutes (when I’m training slowly or getting distracted easily).
Functional training that doesn’t rely on machines is huge and it’s helped me also be a better personal trainer, because I occasionally steal some of the exercises for my groups or clients.
